Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management a pioneer in the field of telecom, is the 1st telecom B- School in the entire SAARC region. Established in the year 1996, SITM has completed 20 glorious years and has entered its 21st year. The aim is to build telecom business leaders who can go hand in hand with the ever changing business scenario. Mapping the industry to the course and delivering the best to the students is what the college aims at doing by conducting regular meetings with the alumni.
Apart from the academics part, there are many events conducted by SITM technological as well as others. SITM is a student driven college, and so everything from events to placements is handled by the students of SITM.
Recently TEDx was conducted by the Entrepreneurship Cell which was a great success. Many renowned speakers like Neha Aggarwal , Jasmin Sandlas, Zubin Atre etc., had come and gave wonderful talks that inspired students and kept them engrossed. ITS being SITM’s flagship event is one where Corporates come and have discussions which help the students learn many new things and the industry requirements. Understanding the hectic life, SITM also conducts Grudge Championship which is handled by the sports cell. Many games such as football, volleyball, cricket, basketball, badminton are played over a period of 3-4 days. The entire college is divided into teams and this not only is a recreational activity but also increases the bond between the seniors as well as the juniors. Apart from all this life at the campus is quiet beautiful.
The idea of investing money in this college and spending 2 years is totally worth it, where you not only learn a lot about academics and the industry but about life as well.
